THE CHALLENGE

THE CHALLENGE

Three generations, one iconic retailer

Canadian Tire’s Father’s Day campaign was built around celebrating the moments that bring generations together through making, building and passing on skills. Originally developed for online video, the creative needed to capture authentic family moments while maintaining the pace, visual energy and product integration expected of digital-first content. As the project evolved, the campaign was also extended for broadcast, requiring a production approach that could deliver across multiple platforms without compromising the original creative vision.

Working alongside Canadian Tire’s internal agency as their production partner, our role was to bring the campaign to life while ensuring the final creative felt equally at home on YouTube, social platforms and television.

OUR APPROACH

OUR APPROACH

Evolve and adapt

We developed a production approach that blended cinematic storytelling with the authenticity of user-generated content, using dynamic camera movement, natural transitions and intimate point-of-view moments to create a piece that felt personal and relatable while maintaining a premium visual finish.

Every creative decision was designed to support the emotional story without losing sight of the brand. Product integration was woven naturally into the narrative through the act of building together, allowing the tools to become part of the family’s shared experience rather than the focus of it. The result was a campaign that resonated across digital and broadcast channels, demonstrating how thoughtful production can elevate platform-specific creative into a broader brand campaign.
